Job Summary
The Department of Biochemistry seeks applications for a full-time
Professional Research Assistant to work in the laboratory of Professor Natalie Ahn.The main task of the position is to
investigate mechanisms of signal transduction leading to the regulation of protein kinases and cancer. The specific goal is to investigate
enzymatic mechanisms for the regulation of MAP kinases, their impact on inhibitor design, and their contribution to drug resistance in
cancer. Experimental methods include mass spectrometry-based proteomics, hydrogen-deuterium exchange mass spectrometry, NMR, cDNA
subcloning, protein purification and chromatography, mammalian cell culture and fluorescence microscopy.

The salary range for this full-time position is $35,568-$70,000 annually.
