Key Responsibilities:
The Fellowship Program Coordinator, under direction from the Education
Manager and Fellowship Program Directors, is primarily responsible for managing the Neurology ACGME accredited Fellowship Programs
(Vascular, Neuromuscular, and Epilepsy). The coordinator is also responsible for three non-ACGME accredited Fellowship Programs (Clinical
Neuromuscular Pathology, Neuro-Ophthalmology, and Movement Disorders) as well as other educational activities with the Neurology Education
section.
Assist the Program Director in developing and maintaining the educational quality of the training program & ensuring
compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
Acts as an important liaison between fellows, fellowship
directors, faculty, participating sites, and institutional and regulatory offices.
Guides fellows on program and GME
policies, and nonclinical aspects of the program.
Coordinates accreditation activities ACGME Site Visits, Special Reviews,
Annual Program Evaluations, etc.

Intermediate Level:
A bachelor’s degree in education,
psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting,
finance, library science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
One
(1) year of experience working with residency/fellowship programs and/or graduate medical education in a health care setting.
Senior Level:
A bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, business, public administration,
health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or a related field
from an accredited institution.
Two (2) years of experience working with
residency/fellowship programs and/or graduate medical education in a health care setting.
Principal Level:
A bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology,
social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Three (3) years of experience working with residency/fellowship programs and/or graduate
medical education in a health care setting.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with ACGME. GME, policies and accreditation
standards.
Four (4) years of experience working in an academic residency/fellowship coordinator position.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to manage and perform a variety of routine and complex
assignments with considerable independent judgment.
Ability to handle sensitive information with absolute
confidentiality.
Knowledge and ability to plan for and manage the administrative activities of a Fellowship Education Program
through application of prescribed standards, policies, procedures. Skilled in developing short and long-term administrative goals for the
Fellowship program to promote effectiveness and efficiency.
Knowledge and skill in the use of computer systems and software;
knowledge of information data systems and the expertise to adapt them to the support of a clinical education program.
Ability
and skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other Fellowship program personnel, Faculty, staff, affiliate
institutions, residents, students, and the public.

(or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of
posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
