Full Salary Range: Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience; the budget for the position; and the application of fair, equitable, and consistent pay practices at the University. The full salary range for this position is $29.55 – $51.77/hr. The budgeted hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $29.55 – $32.45/hr.

Brief Summary of Job Duties
Under general supervision, works as a front end Drupal Developer and Administrator and manages many of the public-facing departmental and unit websites. Primarily supports web modernization and redesign projects. Is responsible for implementing new frontend features and functionalities and managing all technical aspects of our content management systems. Manages customer relationships with various College constituents in matters of implementing and making available campus resources for web services.

Job Functions and Percentages of Time:
80% Web Platform and Redesign Under the general supervision of Letters and Science IT, and in coordination with the Office of Public Affairs, deploys new, migrated, and redesigned sites utilizing existing UCSB web theme. Under general supervision, is responsible for creating and managing web migration
projects. Manages many projects concurrently. Projects will be developed based on consultation with specific College business units. Is responsible for gathering business requirements of the customer department/unit and providing a resultant site that matches those needs within the scope of the campus web theme. Provides feedback and development support to the Office of Public Affairs to enhance the campus web theme. Ensures compliance with university policies (e.g,. accessibility) and departmental, divisional, and College goals. Engages in all phases of projects including development, design, testing and production.
20% Site Administration As “Person-in-charge” of Pantheon hosted websites, will perform continued audits, conduct regular security maintenance, debug errors,
optimize code, and assume all responsibilities for administrative role related to hosting specific college sites.
