Extension (UNEX) is one of the top providers of continuing and professional education in the United States, offering programs and classes to
more than 50,000 students per year through approximately 4,500 classes and certificate programs to meet the professional development,
continuing education, and personal enrichment needs of the full spectrum of traditional, nontraditional, domestic, international,
professional, and continuing education students throughout and beyond Los Angeles.
Under the direction of the Program Director
(CONTINUING EDUCATOR II), the Program Manager (PM), will manage the following areas: course, certificate, and program planning, development
and implementation; implementation of marketing strategies; course and program budget development and coordination; staff Supervision;
instructor management, including recruitment and onboarding.
The main responsibilities include supervision of the administrative
staff, including Program Representatives (PUBL EDUC SPEC 2), fostering relationships with campus partners, creating new partnerships with
external stakeholders, as well as coordination of all unit activities. Other responsibilities include work on various special projects,
including marketing plans and promotional campaigns for the curricular areas and specific courses and projects; budget tracking, monitoring,
and analysis, and serving as a higher-level trouble-shooter for the unit regarding logistical problems.

Special Instructions:
The budgeted hiring/target salary range for this position is the posted minimum to
$5,416.67 monthly ($65,000/annually), with salary placement based on skills, knowledge, and experience.
