Position Description:
Under the general supervision of the Associate Director of Strategic Initiatives, Incumbent will support the planning, execution, and ongoing management of new and existing programming designed primarily to serve undergraduate UCLA populations, as well as some external, non-UC populations. Specific duties include supporting initiatives focused on time-to-degree, improving student preparedness for post-graduation life, helping undeclared students successfully identify and pursue their majors, assisting transfer students in their transition to UCLA, managing self-supporting degree programs with summer components, and other responsibilities as assigned. Incumbent is expected to provide support throughout the lifecycle of all assigned project/program efforts from initiation, research, and preparation stages, through to execution, ex post facto review & evaluation, and ultimately future-forward, long-term planning. Additionally, Incumbent will be required to review and monitor enrollment and market trends for summer offerings and suggest possible programming ideas and recommendations for improvement as needed, build relationships with key stakeholders, and serve as a liaison with other campus and external units as assigned. Responsibilities require project management skills, attention to detail, experience with data analysis and reporting, working independently and collegially with various academic departments, units, and other campus communities, and a willingness to serve a diverse population of students, as well as faculty/staff.
