Position Description:
Under direction from the Ed&IS Chief Financial Officer and Chief of Staff, serve as a Dean’s Infrastructure and Initiative Processor for the School of Education and Information Studies (Ed&IS). The Dean’s Infrastructure and Initiative Processor is required to provide proactive, high-quality, flexible, and reliable assistance as a member of the Ed&IS Business Office unit. Responsibilities include serving as the main point of contact for select Dean’s infrastructure units and Dean Initiatives related processing and reimbursement requests; providing support with various tasks such as financial management; budgeting and accounting support management (accounts payable transactions such as purchases and reimbursements, accounts receivables, etc.); facilitating departmental purchasing needs; supporting efforts in financial journals and ledger reconciliation and audits, ad-hoc reporting, and a variety of other general administrative duties. Incumbents will work in collaboration with Business Office Manager, CFO and COS. to create a streamlined processing and reimbursement system within the school across various dean units.
This position requires a high level of organization, coordination, and attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly across a variety of platforms and within a diverse community.
This position offers the opportunity of a hybrid schedule that includes remote work some days of the week with the rest of the workweek held on UCLA campus, contingent upon school need.
Special Instructions:
The budgeted hiring salary/target range for this position is the posted minimum to $30.25 hourly, with salary placement based on skills, knowledge, and experience.
