Departmental Overview
The Academic HR Analyst provides a wide range of activities to the academic titles in the EPS/BSL cluster – for which faculty, lecturers and academic coordinators directly benefit. These functions are directly aligned to the research and instructional support for both the faculty, lecturers, researchers and students of the EPS/BSL cluster. Services include, but are not limited to HR administration – including summer sessions, recommending, developing, implementing, administering, coordinating, and/or evaluating EPS Academic Human Resources policies, labor contracts, statutes, programs, and procedures covering one or more of the following: academic recruitment, appointment, and advancement; compensation and salary administration; faculty welfare programs; visa procurement; benefits; payroll; training and development; faculty misconduct; and faculty equity. Incumbent also collaborates with the Unit Manager on position tracking, budgets, tracking and shepherding Berkeley Regional Services (BRS) requests.
