As a member of the DEVAR marketing and communications team, the graphic designer assists in achieving the fundraising and engagement goals of DEVAR by creating marketing and communication materials that build and promote a compelling brand for the university, help increase contributions, steward donors, engage alumni and parents, and drive continuous, loyal support for the university now and in the coming years.
Under general direction of the Art Director, the graphic designer will:
Design and produce marketing and communication materials including multi- page print publications and layouts, digital and social graphics, event materials, advertisements, flyers, brochures, signage, presentations, environmental graphics, and data visualization.
Develop and update brand identity systems to promote and identify DEVAR initiatives, events, and campaigns across various media.
Manage competing priorities and production timelines toward the timely completion and delivery of print publications and digital graphic assets.
Seek and edit photographs and maintain photographic archive for use in print and a digital publications and graphics.
Be flexible and open to feedback to produce quality work under set deadlines and with competing priorities.
Work closely with other members of DEVAR to develop communication and marketing materials, as well as integrated creative concepts, to promote the university’s comprehensive giving campaign and other fundraising and engagement initiatives.
