Position Highlights | The College of Nursing is actively seeking a visionary and dynamic leader to join us as the Chair of the Advanced Nursing Practice and Science (ANPS) Department. As the Department Chair, you play a pivotal role in advancing the department’s mission and vision. We are seeking an accomplished and creative leader and researcher who can build upon the existing foundations of excellence within the department and drive advancements in both research and educational initiatives. Key aspects of this role include conducting a robust program of extramurally funded research, mentoring diverse faculty and staff to foster their professional growth, and ensuring a supportive and collaborative environment. You will oversee the department’s budget, resources, and academic programs. The position is expected to be appointed at 1.0 with .50 FTE assigned to the administrative role of department chair. The remaining FTE assignment will focus on research and service. Opportunities are available for teaching in the PhD program.
