Summary/Objective:
As Human Resource Assistant this role provides administrative HR support and other related duties to the Human Resources Department. Acts as a professional representative in the absence of the Director of Human Resources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assist in all aspects of new hire recruitment, selection, and onboarding process.
· Schedule manager/staff meetings as requested by HR Director.
· Assist in the administration of employee benefits, including new and open enrollment process, benefit changes and terminations.
· Responsible for distribution of benefits material information and uploading to company Sharepoint.
· Process FMLA and other leave request.
· Respond to internal and external inquires and request related to the HR department.
· Assist with preparation of staff performance reviews.
· Assist HR Director in separation process.
· Serve as a resource to the staff by answering questions, assisting with problems, and provide training as necessary.
· Assist HR Director in maintaining company handbook with updated policies and other pertinent information, as needed.
· Lead / participate in independent projects to successfully meet organization goals.
· Assist with planning and coordinating employee recognition/engagement activities and company events.
· Assist with other administrative duties as needed or any other duties as assigned by Director of HR.
