The Billing Specialist is responsible for billing and collections operations of the hospital, consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Fairmount Behavioral Health System.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma. Associates or bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years billing experience in hospital accounting or business office required.

Knowledge: Knowledge of billing requirements, collection procedures and accounts receivable application required. Experience and skill in working with a computerized accounting system required.
