Responsibilities include the creation and analyzing of sales reporting and implementation of book of business assignment in sales tools. This role acts as the liaison between the market and our distribution partners to ensure critical updates and all required communications are distributed to these partners.

Our offices are located at 6200 Northwest Parkway, San Antonio, TX 78249 and 901 S Mopac Expressway, Bldg. II, Ste. 275 Austin, TX 78746.

Employees will be required to work 3 days onsite and 2 days from home.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Subject Matter Expert on SAM and other UHC sales applications/tools
• Responsible to train, influence and support tools and sales processes utilized by our distribution partners
• Partner with market leader team to provide reporting and analysis of sales data at both macro and micro levels
• Support sales efforts targeted at potential new and renewal accounts, including setting appointments, creating events, and distributing marketing materials.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with distribution partners through direct and indirect communication
• Understanding of how tools/applications work together-where data is coming from, how the information connects to the overall sales process
• Complete eService Registration and establish delegation management for eServices
• Process AOR changes
• Request or run ad hoc reports to support the research of escalated service issues and claims
• Request/process direct debit forms for 51+ for submission to billing
• Order or Assemble Enrollment Kits in urgent situations for distribution partners.
• Send Enrollment Kits to distribution partners per request
• Order collateral material and giveaways (marketing brochures, pedometers, etc.)
• Updates Solaris for sales team with agency sales rep changes
• Research lost binder checks
• Assist the market leadership with new hire onboarding with the training of tools that support the sales process (i.e.-UiE, UeS, SAM, Solaris, etc.)
• Support sales with data, materials, research in escalated situations to maintain distribution partner and customer satisfaction levels.
• Participates in special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
• 1+ years of experience in an Administrative or Sales support role
• Must possess Texas Resident Insurance license or ability to obtain license within 60 days of hire
• Experience with Microsoft Excel (creating spreadsheets and formulas)
• Microsoft Word (creating documents)
• Microsoft Outlook (drafting emails, calendar management)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher)
• Account Management experience
• Broker or Insurance experience
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish / English

Telecommuting Requirements:

• Remote in Austin or San Antonio, TX
• Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
• Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
• Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
