As Director of Engineering, ensure our warehouse facilities are optimized to run at peak performance as the leading distributor of shipping, packaging and industrial supplies!

Position Responsibilities

• Work with branches and leadership to develop purchasing forecasts, transitions to new equipment and retirement of old equipment.

• Negotiate equipment purchases with vendors.

• Manage equipment maintenance including resolving any equipment issues, training staff on proper procedures and coordinating service with vendors.

• Conduct annual audits to ensure optimal operation processes and identify best practices.

• Identify, research and recommend new equipment technologies like automation and robotics.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.

• 10+ years of experience in warehousing, engineering project management and safety.

• Frequent travel to Uline’s branch and international locations.
