UC Davis Health Looking for EVS Supervisor PM shift – CUSTODIAL HC SUPV 2 Full Time

Under the general direction of the EVS Manager, your will oversee the scheduling, organization, and supervision of custodial services staff and operations. You will coordinate the daily operations of the Environmental Services department to provide a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environment to patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide supervision to professionals and skilled technical employees, and act as an advisor to the unit and hospital administration. In the course of your work, you will be asked to analyze and resolve problems, interpret policy (e.g. fiscal management, contracts, HR, resource management).

Minimum Qualifications

• Supervisory/leadership experience in a hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of health care custodial cleaning standards.
• Knowledge and operation of Environmental Services trade skill equipment.
• Valid California Driver’s License (CA ID not sufficient).

Preferred Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a healthcare facility.
• Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation program and State Code Title 22.

The Environmental Services (EVS) Department is responsible for all aspects of housekeeping functions/services in all UCDH owned and leased facilities.
