The Cybersecurity Team seeks a Data Security Analyst to participate i n the Data Security team. The Data Security team’s mission is to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and accuracy.
The Data Security team is responsible for the overall care and maintenance of Tyson Foods data security tools , and for efforts like Data Loss Prevention ( DLP ), Data classification and Data Encryption .
The Data Security Analyst will report directly to the Data Security Director. You will work closely with the other analysts on the team, along with the data governance, legal retention, privacy, techn ology , and analytics teams to discover and classify structured and unstructured data. You will also w ork with Identity and Access management teams to standardize access controls for data repositories and the application, database, technology , and analytics teams to evaluate, provide, and improve database and platform security capabilities .
You will also improve adoption of security tool deployment and ensure that developers and IT personnel are trained with the appropriate level of data security knowledge.
You will need to be thorough and detail oriented. You will need to be passionately customer and outcome focused. This role requires demonstrated experience with meeting goals and deadline s.
No candidate will have experience covering the entire job description , but you should be able to demonstrate a growth mindset showing how you can fill any significant knowledge or experience gaps. Specific Data Security experience is not required but would be beneficial.
