Summary
Under the direction the head of behavioral
management, the Primate Enrichment Manager will oversee the operation and continuous improvement of the TNPRC environmental enhancement
program, including the social management of nonhuman primates, physical enrichment, animal training, and behavioral interventions. This
individual will supervise and organize the daily duties and workload allocation of the Enrichment Technicians to ensure that they follow
appropriate protocols and achieve the goals of the enhancement program. The Manager will, on a timely basis, compile and analyze data to
report progress of the implementation and outcomes of our program activities to the head of behavioral management for her use in analyzing
trends and making program decisions. This individual will be responsible for identifying problems with program implementation and developing
recommended solutions. They will engage key stakeholders to ensure that problems are communicated and resolved successfully. The Manager
will develop, deliver and/or coordinate all personnel training activities related to the enhancement program.
You may be designated
as essential personnel during a storm/natural disaster. If you are required to work during a closure, you must provide accurate and current
contact information and are responsible for maintaining communication with TNPRC. Failure to report to work when requested by supervisor or
manager will result in disciplinary action as outlined by the Staff Handbook.
