H.S. English Teacher

I. Purpose
Trinity Christian School exists to build Christ-followers who love, live, and lead as Jesus modeled.

II. Responsibilities

• Teach lessons using a variety of methods to develop critical learning, analysis, application and problem-solving skills utilizing the prescribed course of study.
• Teach classes consistent with age-group and inspire students to learn the knowledge, skills and subject matter of assigned area contributing to their development as mature Christians through the integration of Biblical principles.
• Create a positive learning environment for students of all abilities and backgrounds
• Access and integrate online and other technology resources
• Maintain an organized classroom
• Evaluate student progress using a variety of assessment tools
• Communicate with parents regularly about students’ progress

III. Requirements

• Demonstrate by example love and obedience to Christ and His Word and attend an evangelical church.
• All teaching positions require an education degree and classroom experience. Teaching candidates may be asked to teach a class and meet with other teachers at that grade level.
• In order to be considered for employment, you must submit a cover letter, résumé, transcripts, completed application, and references. Interviews will be scheduled.
• Ideally, contracts are offered prior to the end of the current school year.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
