Under the supervision of the Customer Experience Manager, provides multiple technical services to support and maintain the college’s enterprise software/applications, peripheral and endpoint devices, multimedia systems, and other technical equipment managed by IT. Manages IT customer support software and apps to create and track tickets, reports, and other documentation. Assist with tracking IT inventory and developing technical designs, specifications, quotes, and options for new/emerging applications and technology.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
This position requires are a high school diploma and experience in office automation systems, data communications system design, installation, operation, repair, sales or marketing, or processing of information in a data processing environment or related systems. A degree in a related field may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidate will have Microsoft Windows Enterprise environments and a TCP/IP Enterprise Network infrastructure experience. Knowledge and technical skills are essential in supporting/troubleshooting enterprise software, operating systems (Windows and Mac OS), endpoint hardware and peripherals, and multimedia devices in an enterprise network environment. Successful candidates will have vital customer service, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Communicating verbally and writing technical information to nontechnical personnel is critical.
