The Administrative Coordinator II serves in the office of the Vice President for Student Services (SS). This position’s primary responsibility is to serve as the primary liaison for the Vice President, SBTCE, College committees, faculty, staff, students, and external agencies, including directing and managing all student services, administrative support, and budget management. This position will also review and maintain all travel, human resources, and procurement documentation. Coordinates varied assignments relating to student discipline, suspension appeals, and other student circumstances. Conducts specialized and various institutional assignments independently and when directed by the VPSS. Discretion and sound judgment in coordinating and scheduling internal and external activities for the SS Division.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
This position requires a high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services. A bachelor’s degree may be substituted for the required work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Ideal candidate will possess advanced skills using Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. The ability to maintain databases and spreadsheets, monitor budgets and coordinate complex processes as well as manage general administrative/clerical duties. Must possess the ability to prioritize work on multiple projects while meeting deadlines; excellent written, oral, and customer service skills.
