Trailside Day Care Hiring for Toddler Teacher Job at Riverside, RI Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Toddler Teacher to join our toddler classroom. You would be working with a Co-Teacher. Our Toddler Teacher should encourage a kind and supportive learning environment. Duties include implementing curriculum, helping children with language development, and assisting with the daily needs of the individual child such as diaper changing and during mealtimes. We hold ourselves to high standards when it comes to caring for and teaching our students and are looking for a candidate with the same values.

Duties and Responsibilities in our Toddler classroom include:

• Implement curriculum
• Collaborate on assessment with Co-Teacher
• Read stories, sing songs and lead students through center based play
• Engage in age-appropriate activities
• Monitor students playtime and physical activities
• Enforce school wide safety procedures
• Supervise students in a positive and friendly manner
• Ensure classroom and learning materials are clean, sanitized and maintained
• Use our Procare app to report to families weekly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour
