Position Overview

Tower Bridge International Group is seeking online teachers to instruct our dynamic AI curriculum to Chinese elementary and secondary school students in a group class setting. This instructor will work closely with a classroom teacher in China. The online instructor will be driving the content delivery, while the counterpart in China will be responsible for classroom management and administration. Candidates may be remote from HQ, which is located in Herndon, VA.

This is primarily a virtual teaching position that is a renewable contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Teach Artificial Intelligence principles/Robotics to K-12 students online using a provided curriculum

• Attend training to be familiar with the virtual teaching environment and tools
• Participate in a variety of meetings with operation staff and teacher counterparts in China to optimize student learning and improve the current curriculum
• Develop supplemental course materials, and class activities as needed
• Employ a variety of methods to meet the different aptitudes and interests of students
• Maintain an engaging and supportive learning environment
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s (required) or Master’s degree (preferred) in computer science or related field
• Knowledge in AI, and machine learning is required • Basic Knowledge in Python and robotics is preferred
• Experience in teaching and tutoring K-12 students is preferred.
• Must teach effectively via remote web-based tools in group settings.
• Must have bilingual speaking proficiency in Mandarin/English.
• Flexibility required. Teaching and tutoring can occur in the evenings and on weekends as needed.
