1. Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse
2. Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within multiple business units.
2.1. Solely responsible for managing candidate intake on the applicant tracking system.
2.2. Partner with department heads and budget throughout the recruiting and hiring approval process.
3. Create and implement Employment Marketing Strategies to attract passive job seekers.
3.1. Partner with Advancement department to develop marketing initiatives to enhance employment branding.
3.2. Partner with external marketing firms.
3.3. Utilize social media and job boards to generate traffic to the TUN careers page.
4. Build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management.
4.1. Conduct phone interviews with potential candidates.
4.2. Assist department with creating the offer and closing the candidate.
4.3. Demonstrates the ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer to interview ratios.
5. Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the university.
5.1. Implementing any new processes and fine-tuning standard process for recruiting that aligns with TUN’s mission to deliver the highest quality of faculty and staff for our students.
5.2. Work with hiring managers and/or committee to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
5.3. Work closely with hiring managers and/or committee to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process.
5.4. Regular follow up with the respective hiring managers and/or committee and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
6. Partner with Campus Leaders to forecast and develop plans for key staffing initiatives.
6.1. Strong commitment to continuous improvement; ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships, continually seek new sourcing options, and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates to hiring committees and managers.
7. Build and utilize a variety of sourcing plans and tools; including internet research.
8. Actively participate in all staffing related activities and engage in cross functional projects, including; Employee Onboarding, New Hire Orientation and Employee Growth and Development Opportunities.
9. Manage and prioritize multiple searches, track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity.
10. Ability to execute recruiting strategy, including employer promotion, diversity sourcing, and interview process management.
11. Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision.
12. Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
13. Other HR related duties as assigned by HR Director.
