Tiny Violets Childcare in Littleton is hiring teachers!

We are looking for individuals that are energetic, passionate, loving, and positive. We offer great compensation and opportunity for growth with the company. We also offer excellent benefits after 60 days of employment and a family-like work environment. Positions are full time that begin immediately with hours ranging between 8:00 am – 6:00 pm.

Our teachers help create a fun and loving environment while incorporating activities that assist in our children’s development. Teachers are responsible for all children in our program. Primary duties include monitoring the children’s safety while creating a peaceful home away from home to learn essential life skills. Ideal candidates should love working with children and have a passion for early learning development.

Teacher Responsibilities:

• Staff will work cohesively with the other teachers/Director/Assistant Director.
• Job duties range from opening and the closing building, organizing materials and creating solid learning plans for each child.
• All teachers are expected to support the Tiny Violets philosophy to promote development through love, health, positive energy, safety, stimulation, and happiness.
• The teacher should allow the child to move at their own pace but also encourage new development.
• Develop strong relationships with children.
• Teachers should maintain open rapport with parents in person and track milestones and updates for each child through the Bright Wheels App for easy information sharing.
• Share the common goals of the school and help with positive school growth.

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and able to pass a background check through the State of Colorado.
• Must be able to frequently stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift, pull, or push 25lbs.
• Must be willing to submit a medical statement signed and dated by a licensed physician or other health care professional verifying that they are in good mental and physical health.
• Passionate about working with children.
• Positive and patient demeanor.

Experience in the educational field/early education field preferred but not required
