Summary:
The Behavioral Health Specialist will be responsible for providing mental and behavioral health support services to military service members.
Acting as a subject matter expert regarding behavioral health requirements and regulations, the BHS will perform Mental Health Assessments and Post Deployment Health Re-Assessments.
Essential duties and
Responsibilities:
Conduct Mental Health Assessments (MHA) and Post Deployment Health Re-Assessments (PDHA) through telehealth portal in a remote call center environment.
Triage and manage client contact including referrals to other resources if necessary.
Complete required documentation associated with all MHA and PDHA assessments.
Education and
Qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher from accredited institution.
Active state license to practice independently in mental health.
Social Workers, Psychologist, Marriage and Family Therapist, Professional Counselors, Psychiatrist, etc.
Minimum 2 years’ experience providing mental and behavioral health services.
Ability to wok effectively in a remote setting with little supervising, while achieving quality goals.
Experience working with electronic health records and databases, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
Must have the ability to obtain SF86 Position of Trust.
Supervising Others:
No Hours and Shift:
Monday-Friday 8am-4pm & 1 Saturday per month Travel:
