The University of Olivet, a liberal arts university in south central Michigan with a long-standing commitment to inclusion and diversity, seeks an Assistant Director of Admissions who will work with both online graduate and transfer recruitment.

Working under the Director’s leadership, the Assistant Director is responsible for serving as a front-line recruiter for online students and traditional transfer students, as well as in the graduate programs. The Assistant Director works in close alliance with partners to attend recruitment events, organize meetings, and coordinate special events designed to promote The University of Olivet and its academic programs. Additionally, this position maintains student inquiries, makes admissions decisions for student applications to The University and assists program directors on the acceptance of students.
The Assistant Director is also responsible for working with students and appropriate campus offices on ensuring efficient transfer evaluations and admission criteria for the admission process. The Assistant Director will also help identify and implement initiatives at regional community colleges and partner sites and travel as appropriate to represent The University to prospective students. The Assistant Director will collaborate and partner with the program coordinators of the appropriate academic areas, as well as other areas, in implementing strategic enrollment and recruitment goals.
This position is a 12-month, full-time position and requires several events and activities outside regular business hours.
