The Student Services Coordinator assists with various programming and outreach initiatives, including supervision and oversight of student workers and support of student activities, front desk management, social media, websites, marketing materials, and other various communications.
This position promotes and enhances communications with current and prospective students while striving to increase the AEC’s visibility online, on campus, and worldwide. In addition, it provides diverse and specialized administrative support work to the Applied English Center and serves as an information resource person for international students, staff, and the general public. Work is typically done with indirect supervision.
About the Applied English Center (AEC)
The AEC focuses on academic English and helps prepare students linguistically, academically, and culturally for their program of study. Working with beginning to advanced English speakers, the AEC offers an array of programs and services such as tutoring, advising, customized courses, and various events and activities.
