Position Summary:
The Department of Management in the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track faculty position at the lecturer level, beginning August 2024. The teaching load is eight courses per academic year. The successful candidate also will be proactively involved in departmental service and undergraduate or Master student mentoring.
Additional Requirements:
The position is renewable based on performance and promotion to Senior Lecturer is possible after six years of service. At a minimum, a master’s degree is required with 5 or more years of relevant private- or public-sector work experience in management or related areas. Candidates with a master’s degree must document exceptional accomplishments in management or a related area and must be approved for a terminal degree exception before hire.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to provide high-quality instruction at the undergraduate and MBA levels within the general management area with broad teaching interests in principles of management, human resources management, leadership, ethics, or strategy, and as well as other related topics, as needed.
Evidence of successful teaching ability in the form of student surveys/evaluations, peer evaluations, or annual reviews will be a key consideration. Research is not a consideration.
