Position Highlights
This position is responsible for implementation and maintenance of Active Directory and Windows system infrastructure to improve the security, operational stability, and regulatory compliance of the University’s central Active Directory environment. Uses an extensive knowledge of Microsoft technologies and AWS services to support enterprise Microsoft services and server environments.
Specific Projects of Interest
* Secure AD – assists campus departments in migration of AD resources to a hardened Active Directory environment.
* Campus Cloud Infrastructure – assists campus departments in migration of Windows server environments into AWS.
* Managed Cloud Services – assists campus departments in the adoption of cloud-based, managed Microsoft services (MSSQL, IIS, etc).
The Managed Cloud Services team is a collection of motivated and ambitious AWS engineers, Microsoft Architects, and Systems Administrators from diverse technical backgrounds who rely on their creativity and expertise to resolve a wide array of institutional challenges by developing innovative solutions to campus computing needs.
