Pay Grade/Pay Range: 56 Hourly (non-exempt) – $ 15.00 – $ 21.78

Normal Work Schedule: Based on operational needs

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care to patients. The RN reviews physicians’ orders for accuracy and authorization prior to implementing them; prescribes and initiates nursing treatment through direct, assisted or delegation to other staff.

Additional Department Summary: The registered nurse performs medical procedures on children enrolled at Rise. Provides information to parents and staff concerning the most up to date status of routine medical care . Determines if children are too sick to attend school and is in charge during any medical emergency.

Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or the equivalent. State of Alabama valid/current Registered Nurse License.
