Normal Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Job Summary: The Action Card Technician is responsible for communications wiring and software setups. Responsible for installation, repair, inventory and preventative maintenance for 650+ Action Card readers. Responsible for day-to-day operations associated with the video imaging systems utilized for photo ID card issuance.
Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and at least two (2) years of experience in electronics, telecommunications or network/computer hardware.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver’s license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Preferred Qualifications: Good communication skills, ability to handle stressful situations, and basic software knowledge.
