Responsibilities:
Assistant Program Director Upward Bound Classic Program responsibilities include: develop
and provide leadership in the implementation and delivery of mandatory services and activities meant to achieve the objectives of the Upward
Bound Project Grant; responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations; monitor the budget; direct supervision of academic
advisors, project secretary, and other support staff; establish and maintain collaborative relationships with on-campus and off-campus
stakeholders. This position requires ability to work non-traditional hours as needed, including evenings and weekends. Additionally, travel
for professional development and student trips, may require overnight stays.
Required Qualifications:
Requires a relevant Master’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years’ academic counseling experience with excellent written and oral
communication skills. Ability to develop and evaluate program activities and provide academic counseling to program participants/or
prospective University students is required.
Compensation/Grade & Benefits:
This position starts at
$1692.31 biweekly and is a grade 121.
