We are currently hiring for a Contract Recruiter in Vernon Hills, IL.
What will you do as a Contract Recruiter?
- Conduct full cycle recruiting, providing expert counsel to hiring managers regarding: market employment trends, recruitment strategies, sourcing tactics, identification of skills/competencies, interviewing, pre-hire assessments, compensation, candidate selection and job offer negotiation
- Employ the established processes, including sourcing/selecting methods, phone screening, interviewing, reference checking, offer development and negotiation, and recordkeeping
- Operate with an awareness of talent acquisition metrics, including operational measures (i.e. time to fill, candidate experience), and outcomes (i.e. quality of hire, new hire retention)
- Manage relationships with key recruiting vendors involved in screening and sourcing
- Monitor and report on talent acquisition expenses including job posting, third-party recruiters and relocation
Who qualifies for the Contract Recruiter position?
- Candidate with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience with full cycle recruiting
- Candidate with comprehensive knowledge of SilkRoad’s Open Hire or other electronic recruiting system
- Candidate proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Candidate experienced with recruiting Sales and Engineering positions
- Candidate with familiarity of Industrial Automation industry a plus
- Candidate with AIRS certification a plus
What hours will the Contract Recruiter work?
- Monday – Friday
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible start)
- Temp to hire
- OT possible, based on business needs
- Partially remote (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
How much will you earn as a Contract Recruiter?
- Starting pay is between $75,000 – 90,000 based on experience
