HR Support Role – Short-term Contract – Hiring Now!

Are you looking for your next HR role? Do you have at least 3+ years of experience within an HR department? Are you available for a short-term contract with the opportunity to go contract-to-hire?

THE RIGHT STAFF is seeking experienced HR candidates for our manufacturing client in Eagan, MN. Ideal candidates will have at least 3+ years of experience in a similar role and a 2-year degree in business management or HR.

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
• Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executive
• Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
• Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc.)
• Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc.) and take minutes
• Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
• Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.)
• Communicate with public services when necessary
• Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
• Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
• Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
• Assist our recruiters to source candidates and update our database

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 2-year degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
• 3+ years of proven experience as an HR assistant, staff assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position
• Strong computer proficiency – Word, Excel, Outlook, & PowerPoint
• Hands-on experience with an HRIS, preferably ADP.

SCHEDULE AND PAY FOR THE HR GENERALIST:

• Located in Eagan, MN – 100% onsite
• Pay depends on experience – $25+/hr.
• Monday to Friday – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Short-Term Contract need with strong potential to go contract-to-hire
