Job Title:Visiting Assistant Professor

The Department of Engineering Education (EED) in the College of Engineering (CoE) at The Ohio State University invites applications for two (2) Visiting Assistant Professors to start January 1, 2024 (date is flexible). The faculty members hired for these positions are expected to contribute to the execution of Kern Entrepreneurial Engineering Network (KEEN) activities in the College as well as the teaching and research mission of the Department.
This is primarily a research position as described with the opportunity to teach courses occasionally. Teaching load is negotiable and will align with needs of the department. Appropriate service to the department will be identified in alignment with the candidate’s future career goals.
This one-year position with possibility of renewal is open to candidates along a continuum of career stages, is aimed primarily at recent PhD graduates but open to faculty on research leave, and those seeking to connect with engineering education research. Candidates anticipating receiving a PhD in the coming months are encouraged to apply but should have their degree in hand at the start of the contract.
