Job Title:Mathematics Lecturer
Department:Marion | Administration
The Marion campus of The Ohio State University seeks a full-time (100% FTE), nine-month Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics, starting Autumn 2023. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to the teaching mission of The Ohio State University and a background in undergraduate mathematics courses . Preference will be given to someone who has additional expertise in teaching courses in statistics, computer science and linear programing.
This position is in Marion, Ohio, which is 45 miles north of the Columbus campus, and would be renewed annually contingent upon successful job performance and available budget.
The targeted salary range for this position is $45,000 – $52,000/year.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in mathematics with a minimum of five years of experience teaching mathematics at the college level; and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Desired Qualifications
Doctoral degree in Mathematics; extensive experience teaching mathematics to undergraduate students; demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team; energetic and enthusiastic self-motivator.
