Job Description Summary
To provide assistance in support of genetic clinical research studies; assists with implementation and coordination of studies; participates in recruitment of study participants; performs diagnostic testing; help with research genetic testing interpretation; assists with patients’ education and development of educational material; help with social networking and website for the study; assists with collection maintenance & reporting of clinical research data.
Minimum Education and Skills/Experience Required/Desired
Bachelor’s Degree in molecular genetics, biological sciences, health sciences with strong emphasis and understanding of genetics and molecular genetics, or equivalent combination of education experience; prior experience in clinical research capacity with patients interaction is preferred; experience performing molecular genetics data analysis desired; computer skill required with knowledge of Microsoft office software; welling to learn new database software applications desired.
