Overview
Our Fabric & Wallcovering Guru is responsible for maximizing and growing revenue and profits utilizing an assigned client list while expanding opportunities with those existing customers and acquiring new business. The key responsibility of this role is to conduct business in a way that creates a superior customer experience that will set the stage for effective sales follow-up, as well as future product sales. The right candidate will be energetic, passionate, and creatively driven.
Key responsibilities:
· Seek out and develop accounts, identify key players, and generate interest with those clients with a large focus on the textiles and softgoods
· Drive relationship through product and workplace knowledge
· Become a trusted resource and develop superior relationships with your tribe
· Successfully manage and overcome customer objections and opportunities
· Keep detailed, accurate and copious notes and update customer interaction into the company’s database enabling accurate follow through at some later date
· Maintain an appropriate level of sales activity while conducting a minimum number of sales appointments per week, as designated by the sales manager
· Monitor market conditions, and respond with product innovations from our manufactures while engaging with the design community to grow your own portfolio of business
· Value a team approach over an individual goal
· Collaborate with a highly motivated sales and creative team

Key Qualifications:
o BS or BA degree preferred or comparable industry experience
o Or Previous sales experience in high-end or luxury home furnishings business preferred
o Knowledge or appreciation for interior design, textiles, and wallcovering
o Initiative to build a strong client base
o Ability to provide exceptional customer service,
o Think critically and creatively
o Superb organizational skills and use of time wisely
o Provide excellent communication to clients, sales team and management
o The desire and drive to be a team player
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68,000.00 – $72,000.00 per year
