We are seeking a Benefits Manager for our Roswell, GA location. This is an exciting time to join our team! We are growing exponentially, with a focus on the future!
The Benefits Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Health & Welfare and Retirement (401(k), pension, and SERP) plans including Leave of Absence administration and Wellness initiatives. The role provides strong administrative expertise while continually seeking opportunities for improvement with the benefit plan administration.
This role requires strong analytical skills with detailed knowledge of retirement plan administration. Excellent customer service for internal and external customers is a key requirement.
Summary of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
Knowledge of all pertinent Benefits related federal and state regulations (DOL, IRS, ERISA, Social Security) including filing, reporting, and compliance requirements.
· You will play a key role in coordinating transfer of data to external partners (401(k), pension, and health and welfare administrators). Maintains employee benefits records in new UKG system.
· Duties include 401(k) and pension funding, loan administration, deferral file imports, review of pension calculations, and data file validation. Close coordination of administration with Payroll Department.
· You are our Point person for all retirement and other plan audits. Prepare, collect, and organize data for audit.
· Assist Director in benefits planning for the coming year and working with the consultant regarding benefit plan options and trends consistent with Company plan objectives.
· Manage resolution of employee inquiries by interpreting benefit plan policies and procedures including monitoring the Benefits mailbox.
· Establish and maintains working relationships with benefits providers and partners.
· Documents and maintains Policy Documents and Standard Operating
· Procedures (SOPs) for all benefit processes.
· Execution of detailed project plans.
· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, etc.
Minimum Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Accounting/Finance (or related field) and five years of benefits manager experience.
· HR/Benefits certifications preferred, but not required.
· Experience with UKG and Kronos is preferred.
· Union administration experience is a plus.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
