HJF is seeking a Research Assistant I to perform research in collaboration with others for projects. The Research Assistant provides laboratory and technical support to senior technical and professional staff and solves less complex problems in carrying out research projects in a laboratory environment.
This position will be in support of the Military HIV Research Program (MHRP) Cellular Immune Monitoring Core (CIMC). CIMC is a Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP), focused on T-cell-mediated immunity and its functions, primarily against intracellular pathogens like HIV. Cellular Immune Monitoring Core (CIMC) evaluates clinical samples with intracellular staining and other flow cytometry based assays, assessing cell-mediated immunity generated by vaccine products within the MHRP pipeline.
