The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing military medicine. We serve military, medical, academic and government clients by administering, managing, and supporting preeminent scientific programs that benefit members of the armed forces and civilians alike. Since its founding in 1983, HJF has served as a vital link between the military medical community and its federal and private partners. HJF’s support and administrative capabilities allow military medical researchers and clinicians to maintain their scientific focus and accomplish their research goals.
HJF is seeking a Program Manager III to oversee a collection of related/integrated projects that together support a long-term research initiative. This position strategically guides one or more project managers and related technical staff to ensure they are all working effectively toward the program’s stated objectives. Typically oversees moderate to highly complex scope of work.
This position will be in support of Military Traumatic Brain Injury Initiative (MTBI2). MTBI2 brings together the expertise of clinicians and scientists across disciplines to catalyze innovative approaches to traumatic brain injury (TBI) research. The Program Manager will work closely with the MTBI2 Program Operations Director, members of the MTBI2 Program Management team as well as project and division staff to maximize the effective use of project resources.
Note: This work site requires that non-US Citizen incumbents have lived in the US three out of the past five years.
