THE WHO: (That’s You)-Are you an Energetic / Fun / Excited / Passionate Teacher? If so, The Etiquette Factory wants you to join us to teach year round. We are searching for an instructor to join our company as an independent contractor, teaching Manners, Character & Social Skills to children in fun and creative ways! Our mission is to reach the hearts of children, giving them the skills and tools they need to build a beautiful and successful life based on integrity, empathy, charity, confidence and determination.

THE WHAT: (DETAILS) -We are looking for an experienced instructor who is willing to teach (2-3 hour) classes, 4-5 x per week. We teach our program in city recreation programs, after school classes, homeschool programs, summer camps & more.

Our classes are for ages: 5-9 years (Manners, Character & Social Skills), 10-13 (Life Skills for Pre-Teens, 14-17 years old (Life Skills for Teens). Are you passionate about teaching a specific age group? You have the ability to teach one group or all age ranges! It’s up to you!

Days/Times: We fit your schedule, we are seeking instructors who want to teach at least 4, 2-3 hour classes a week during the school year and will be available to teach 4 day, weekly camps during the summer. Classes run from 1-3 hours at a time depending on the program. Preferred availability from 2:00 p.m. and after, during the school year, and 9:00-12:00 and/or 1:00-4:00 during the summer. We may have some morning times as well.

Locations Options: Currently we teach anywhere from San Clemente to Newport/Tustin area. You can choose a territory working within a few cities.

Ex:

Territory #1: San Clemente, SJC, Dana Point, Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo

Territory #2: Newport Beach, Irvine, Costa Mesa, Tustin

Territory #3: Lake Forest, RSM, Mission Viejo, Ladera Ranch

Pay: Pay is per job which averages about $30 per hour.

PLEASE NOTE! You are an independent contractor, NOT an employee, and will receive a 1099 at the end of the year.

HOW TO APPLY -Please send your RESUME & AVAILABILITY. You MUST have experience working with children and are able to handle all personality types and behavioral issues. Classroom management a must! Must be physically able to meet the demands of teaching children. This is a very part time position (8-12 hours weekly) with room to grow as our program grows -Great job for retired teachers looking to stay active or college students working toeards their teaching credientials. Must be available during the week. Must be reliable and committed to work the classes you sign up for. Must have good manners yourself, great communication skills, and a welcoming and energetic presence. All instructors are expected to complete their training with the Etiquette Factory in order to be licensed to teach the program. And it’s EASY!! I pay for the training program. It’s only a few hours.

Please read over job description to see specific territories if you are not able to drive throughout OrangeCounty. You can pick one or more of the territories if preferred.
• I need instructors to teach 4-5 days per week from 4:00-6:00 at a minimum. Are you able to meet these requirements and if not, what is. your availability?
• Are you are aware you will be an independent contractor and will receive a 1099 at the end of the year. Work is between 10-12 hour per week. You are not considered an employee.
