Position Summary:The College of New Jersey, Office of Enrollment Management, Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) is seeking candidates to serve as a Program Assistant. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, who is an independent thinker and team player, who can see the big picture while focusing in on the details.
Under the supervision of the EOF Director and Associate Director, the selected candidate will support the EOF Program through both programmatic and operational support tasks. The Program Assistant will have first-line interactions with those seeking information about the program and program services, and will manage those contacts with professionalism and the highest level of confidentiality. The position will provide operational oversight to the office ensuring records management. The selected candidate will also organize work priorities and manage office functions accordingly.
The selected candidate will provide budget monitoring and purchasing oversight for the multiple grant and institutional program budgets through the Oracle Cloud system, and abide by the specific State and institutional financial reporting requirements. They will also assist in gathering information to make determinations on student program eligibility, participate in data collection and analysis, and the implementation of event planning and programming for all constituents.
