Our North America Operating Unit (NAOU) Marketing Teams are responsible for marketing and growing a portfolio of brands – ensuring that each brand connects deeply with local consumers in ways that scale globally. Focus, Scope, & Impact: + This role is a Design Team Leader role and this person will lead the End to End Design team for Coca-Cola North America across Coca-Cola’s iconic portfolio of brands. + Leads an outstanding team and plays a critical role in setting the team’s priorities, driving team engagement, developing, and coaching the team. + Leader of the team that defines the approach for all Design/VIS development/Brand Identity Systems and guides application to be used throughout the entire brand ecosystem and corresponding touchpoints for a seamlessly integrated experience , balancing the needs for global equity building and regional North America focus. + Leads all aspects of the local and regional brands’ brand design creative , driving the team to creatively drive relevance to the target audience while protecting the integrity of the brands’ experiences + Develops, nurtures and evolves brand identity systems across brand touchpoints from a consumer and shopper perspective + Partners with external design agencies to develop authentic and compelling design language + Leads the team in building the content for brand stewardship documents and guidelines + Thinks analytically and creatively about the role of various forms of content and masters how brand identity systems should be crafted to strengthen the power of the brand / brand message across all platforms and media. + Drives thinking on how to apply brand identity systems around E2E consumer journey and shopper path (both online and offline) to drive consistency in line with on the experience. + Being the guardian to make sure path to purchases (both online and offline) are seamlessly integrated and all expressions of the brand on afore-mentioned consumer and shopper journeys remain true to the essence of the brand. + Leads the exploration and strategy for Packaging Design Creative across Coca-Cola North America (and key global projects) working closely with Brand/Category Leads. This leader role models and champions Design Excellence across all forms of packaging (primary and secondary packaging, equipment) to elevate the brand edge, the consumer experience and to breakthrough with consumers. + Develops a Creative Lighthouse for E2E Design for North America . + Nurtures relationships with design, production, and experiential partners to ensures maximum creativity and efficiency in all productions. Elevates the ideas by partnering with best-in-class production houses, content developer and agencies. + This leader identifies areas of opportunities to elevate the Experience across the consumer experience and not only develops the required process and capabilities to bring to life, but also role-models creative boldness and energy. + This profile requires a healthy balance of innovative thinking and business pragmatism, to ensure we continue to challenge status quo while maximizing our return on investment. Responsible to new models of working in-house and across hybrid model of external partners to lead design thinking for today and tomorrow and build the most efficient and effective production practice for excellent delivery of integrated marketing design deliverables. + The scope of the work includes United States and Canada , the entire Coca-Cola portfolio of categories & brands, as well as support of key global initiatives. This leader will manage effective utilization of production and design resources ensuring all projects are delivered on brand standards, effectively and efficiently. KEY SUCCESS PARAMETERS Experience/Skills + Significant (15+ years) design experience (creative design generation, brand & consumer strategy application, production, agency creative team management, design thinking and execution) + Experience in communication strategy across all disciplines within design/creative strategy , brand identity development & execution, packaging and portfolio design systems thinking, art direction and branding and working with design agencies. Ability to provide input to creative/design strategy for North American and Global brands. + Experience with agency partners (driving high quality work and efficiencies) to deliver stronger consumer experiences. + Experience working in cross-functional and cross-geographical teams with a strong ability to influence a complex set of stakeholders (global and local, category teams, design & production teams, agencies/production houses) + Experience being a change agent , ability to integrate brand experience across touch points and to define capabilities required to elevate our consumer experiences leveraging design and production across consumer experiences. + Experience leading a team with track record of high engagement. + Experience in cross-functional project and deliverables management & ability to work effectively in an agile, networked environment.
