ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

Duties & Responsibilities

• Enter corporate invoices
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Process weekly check runs
• Ensure the processing of payments is timely and accurate.
• Follow up on all outstanding vendor and payable issues until they are resolved.
• Work together with the other company teams to implement efficiencies in the Accounts Payable process.
• Process incoming and outgoing W9’s
• Maintain effective internal controls and ensure transactions follow company policies and are properly reflected on the financial statements.
• Responsible for 1099 compliance

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Business, Finance or a related field is preferred.
• 5+ years accounts payable experience.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) required.
• Key characteristics: continuous improvement, excellent time management skills, sense of urgency, detail oriented.
