Mother Mary Lange Catholic School, located in downtown Baltimore, seeks candidates for a Long-Term Substitute Teacher for 3rd Grade.
The substitute teacher would be responsible for the direct supervision and instruction of students during the teacher’s absence.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in the active supervision of students at all times
- Oversee the instruction of students following the lesson plans provided by the regular teacher
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, assistants, staff and administration
- Interact effectively and respond to communication in a professional, empathic and timely manner
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Degree in elementary education preferred
- Current MSDE certification preferred
- Knowledge of child development and supervision
- Experience teaching in an elementary school setting
- Commitment to Catholic Education and Mother Mary Lange School
