Job Description Summary / TWC Summary
Under the supervision of the Provost, the Assistant Vice President for University Partnerships and
Transformative Initiatives will assist the President, Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, and other University officials in strengthening Texas Southern University’s portfolio by providing strategic support to advance the University’s Corporate Partnership and Transformation Agenda. The ideal candidate will be a talented practitioner with experience as an executive-level project manager with the capacity to motivate and influence leaders toward change. The Assistant Vice President will have a proven track record of facilitating partnerships, managing complex organizational change, and leading high-visibility projects and partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders. The incumbent will leverage internal and external partnerships to achieve
success while working closely with key stakeholders at the institution to foster positive interactions,
involvement, and support for the University.
