Texas Lutheran University invites
applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in the TLU School of Music to begin August 2024.
We seek a colleague who
demonstrates leadership and vision in the areas of music theory and piano studies; evidence of successful teaching and strong pedagogical
understanding in both areas; ability to recruit and retain students; experience in collaborative piano; understanding of and sensibility for
a wide range of students from diverse backgrounds.
Primary responsibilities include:

with colleagues in the School of Music and university-wide, and have an understanding of and appreciation for a church-related
university.
Qualifications: Earned doctorate required (ABD considered with completion by August 2024). Review of complete
applications will begin October 30, 2023, and remain open until December 11, 2023. Offer of employment is contingent upon successful
completion of background check and pending budgetary approval.
