Job Summary: The nurse recruiter is responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified nursing candidates for TCMH. This individual will use their knowledge of the nursing field and TCMH’s needs to identify the best candidates and bring them on board.
Responsibilities:
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in nursing, recruiting, and staffing.
Licensure, Registration, Certification: : Current Missouri licensure.
Mental/Physical Requirements: Considerable mental concentration on variable projects. Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, turning carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, crouching, twisting, and reaching are required. Must be able to lift 20 lbs. from floor and from overhead, 40 lbs. from waist height and be able to handle, move or transfer articles of 100 lbs. regularly and over 100 lbs. periodically; in concert with other employees/person(s) and/or lifting device; exercise good body mechanics in execution of essential duties, including appropriate back and neck posture.
Skills: Knowledge of the nursing field and current trends. Working knowledge of the laws and regulations governing patient care and hospital operations. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required. General knowledge of computers for spreadsheet computations and word processing. Strong financial management and public relations skills necessary. Ability to work in multidisciplinary setting. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Knowledge of social media.
Working Conditions: During the course of work, incumbents may come in contact with infectious organisms and other potentially hazardous substances.
