The Human Resources Assistant, under supervision, processes and maintains forms and records, provides detailed administrative information, and assists customers with HR processes, procedures, or services.
Responsibilities:
Schedules appointments, greets customers, answers telephone, and distributes, delivers, and picks up mail for the department.
Assists new-hire employees with paperwork completion.
Assists in the processing of employee background checks and employment applications.
Examines employee files to answer inquiries. Provides information to authorized persons.
Compiles data from personnel records and HR Systems and prepares reports.
Assists in personnel records imaging.
Files documents in personnel folders.
Assists department prepare for new hire orientation and wellness events.
Assists with projects.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
Education – High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience – One year of experience.
Knowledge of – Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
Ability to – Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
Licensing / Professional Certification – None.
Physical Requirements – None.

Supervision of Others
This position generally does not supervise employees.
Hours: Up tp 19.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
Salary: $15.00
