Summary:
The Executive Assistant to the Dean of Fox and STHM assists with the overall administrative responsibilities for running the school. Many of these responsibilities are of a sensitive and confidential nature and this position requires the exercise of considerable tact and integrity in handling matters of broad scope. They prioritize meetings, prepare agenda items, research issues, compile and analyze statistics and provide follow-up on recommendations. The Executive Assistant works with the Dean on outreach activities, including setting up and operating advisory groups and working closely with Development Office staff and University Relations staff and provides assistance on special projects. Perform other duties as assigned..

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years directly related experience supporting senior leadership. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Required Skills & Abilities:
*Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.
*Superior complex calendar management and travel booking skills.
*Advanced level skills in all other aspects of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint).
*Must be proficient in the construction and manipulation of Access databases.
*Must possess excellent customer service skills.
*Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and exercise considerable tact and integrity.
*Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
*Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload and manage one’s own time appropriately given changing priorities.
*Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and communicate with all levels of management.
*Demonstrated ability to act in a professional manner in a fast paced, demanding work environment.
*Must have initiative and decision-making skills with the ability to make judgment calls to determine the correct action or approach in non-routine assignments and projects.
*Ability to remain positive and engaged when faced with complex situations and work environment.
*This position requires a background check.
*This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
